Welcome to Slowroll Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how Slowroll Studio ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website, our mobile applications, and our games (collectively, the "Services").
This policy applies to:

- Our iOS game "Throwing Eggs"
- Our iOS game "Hey Goose"
- Any other app, game, or service we release

1.1 New Apps and Games
This policy is written to cover our whole studio, not a single title. When we release a new app or game, it is covered by this policy from the day it launches, and we add it to the list above.
If a new app collects or uses information in a way this policy does not already describe, we will update this policy — or publish an app-specific supplement — at or before that app's launch. We will not quietly stretch the general language here to cover something new.
2. Information We Collect
The categories below cover everything we may collect across our Services. Not every app collects everything — a single-player game collects far less than an online multiplayer one. Section 2.8 shows exactly which categories apply to which app.
2.1 Account Information
Some of our apps let you create a Slowroll Studio account. Where they do, we collect:
- Username: Your chosen display name
- Email Address: For account management and communication
Apps that do not require an account — including our single-player games — never ask you for this information.
2.2 Apple Game Center and Leaderboards
Some of our games use Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. Where they do, we receive:
- Game Center Player Alias: The nickname you have chosen in Game Center, together with the anonymous player identifier Apple provides to us
- Leaderboard Scores: The scores, times, and achievements you submit
Game Center is an Apple service. We do not receive your Apple Account credentials, your real name, or your Apple ID email address through it. Your use of Game Center is governed by Apple's privacy policy in addition to this one, and you can turn Game Center off at any time in your device settings.
Leaderboards are public. If you submit a score, your Game Center alias and that score are visible to other players. Please choose an alias you are comfortable showing publicly.
2.3 App and Game Data
To provide you with a personalized experience, we collect:
- Gameplay Statistics: Your performance, wins, losses, and play patterns
- Progress Data: Your achievements, levels completed, and in-app progression
- In-App Interactions: In apps that offer them, the pre-set quick-chat messages you select (e.g., "good move," "darn")
2.4 Device Information
We automatically collect certain technical information:
- Device Type: The model of your device

- Device Identifiers: Unique device identifiers for analytics and fraud prevention
2.5 Usage Analytics

Website data (2.7) applies to slowrollstudio.com only, not to our apps. Hey Goose is a single-player game: it has no Slowroll Studio account and no in-app chat, and the only information other players ever see is your Game Center alias and score on a leaderboard.
3. How We Use Your Information

4.3 Apple Game Center
Games that offer leaderboards or achievements use Apple Game Center, which is operated by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy policy. Apple provides us with your Game Center alias and an anonymous player identifier so we can attribute scores; we do not receive your Apple Account credentials or real name. You can disable Game Center at any time in your device settings, which stops new scores from being submitted.
4.4 Analytics and Performance
We may use analytics providers to help us understand app usage and improve performance. These services may collect data according to their own privacy policies.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We respect your privacy and limit how we share your information:
5.1 We DO NOT Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
5.2 Public Leaderboards
In games that offer leaderboards, the scores and achievements you submit are shown to other players alongside your Game Center alias. This is the only information about you that other players see, and it is shared only because you chose to submit a score. If you would rather not appear on a leaderboard, you can disable Game Center in your device settings.
5.3 Service Providers
We may share data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our services (e.g., hosting, analytics, advertising). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
5.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or to:

- Prevent fraud or security issues
- Protect the safety of our users or the public

7.3 Opt-Out Rights
You may opt out of:

Adding a new app or game to Section 1 is not by itself a change to how we handle your information — a new title that follows the practices already described here is simply covered by them. If a new app needs practices this policy does not describe, we treat that as a material change and notify you as set out above.
